In April this year I will be running the
Canberra Marathon.
This is a big thing. I have never run that far before. How far? 42.2km. I have never run HALF that far before. I only started really running last year. Before that I was a mad paper crafter. How things change.
I have been fortunate enough to have been selected to run the marathon representing
Beyond Blue. As such, I have a fundraising target.
Whilst I will always welcome out of the blue, individual donations via this
link, I have a few ideas for bigger and better ways to attract your $$$.
The first of which is a massive Virtual Garage Sale of Craft Goods. I did a similar thing a few years ago, raising funds for the Leukeamia Foundation. That was very successful and saw almost $500 raised on behalf of my Dad and my friend. The Marathon falls on the day after the third anniversary of my Dad's passing from Leukaemia, and I am sure this emotional overlay will make the physical challenge of the event even harder.
I have all these RETIRED Stampin' Up! sets to sell. Many have not been used - some have not even been opened. Unless indicated, the stamps have never seen ink.
